However, because KZ1 wasnt THAT good, and Gears 1 was, this doesnt necessarily mean KZ2 is better than GeOW2. (GOW reserved for God of war [it came out first]). I dont mind if you disagree with my opinion, just no swearing or personal insults and that'll be dandy.. thanks.

Dec 4, 2008 - there weren't identical cover systems before gears, your probably talking about GRAW and ainbow six. these sort of cover systems arent like gears of war's cover system, the gears of war cover system is called: "high speed covering" or "one button covering" it works better then GR and R6.for as killzone 1, you might liked it, but it really did fail quite a bit. it wasn't bad, but also not very good. gears of war 2 is simply the most logical answer, however K2 MIGHT be good if they improve on K1

Dec 4, 2008 - i had uncharted, i don't know about recent updates to the game, but the whole running against a wall instead of just pushing a button to slide at it doesn't feel right. it loses your sence of power over the game...allthough the cover system in uncharted was good, it wasn't great, like gears. uncharted was a good game though, i loved the nazi's turned into zombies and stuff.

Dec 4, 2008 - In term of taking cover, I thought Gears was the same as uncharted. Just running around in uncharted was easier because of gears stupid camera angle. You could take cover from afar in uncharted by rolling into it, this is exactly the same as the sliding thing un gears.the reason i thought uncharted was better is because the camera isnt locked behind the character. this makes it a lot easier to get where you want to go, and makes melee attacks a lot less clumsy

Dec 4, 2008 - you right about the camera, but your forgetting that uncharted isn't an actual shooter, it's more adventure, so you can't really compare it. still i feel the cover system in gears worked a bit faster (only if you didn't put on the fast movement option in uncharted) i did love how naughty dog tried to lengthen the uncharted gameplay with those unlockables and being able to play the game in mirror view and such.

Dec 4, 2008 - the platforming certainly does take more then 10 percent of the game, i've spent shitloads just jumping around and such. but the melee in uncharted is worked out different because you also have melee combo's (tributing to the platform feeling) and gears does not.
