You have come across something your particular church has not taught you and made the arrogant assumption that it must be wrong. If a seventh day adventist does something an anglican doesn't, does that make it wrong? If a baptist does something a spiritualist doesn't does that make it wrong? No. Within such a schismatic religion as Christianity only the foolish assume their position over others.
