Dec 5, 2008 - "Parce mihi Domine" is from the Vulgate translation of the Book of Job and roughly means "Spare me, O Lord." The whole text is beautiful and I think Morales has created a truly transcendent piece here, very much ahead of his time. And part of me really likes the saxophone addition too—very interesting trend.
