Excerpt from the award-winning documentary by Colm Quinn & Liam O'Cathasaigh, Dublin Institute of Technology"A sensitive intelligent and very moving film about landmine victims in Kosovo. This is a really very mature film, allowing those affected by such catastrophes to tell their own stories. The jury particularly admired the way the film makers stood back to let those stories happen, and the way they allowed the camera to provide a context for them -- of village life, holidays, family, mutual support groups -- as the children mutilated by land mines continued to piece their lives back together."Tim Vaughan

Jul 27, 2008 - I can't begin to imagine the courage required to live without hands. Even more amazing is that some people can adapt successfully and function at a pretty high level with few if any assistive devices! No wonder the ratings are disabled, out of 5, video's like this are 12 at least!
