he idea of LLP is to play through Lufia 2 while gaining the least amount of levels possible. You have to use codes in order to not gain any EXP from random encounters and bosses.This is actually the 2nd fight against Gades, but you were meant to (and forced to, in a LLP) to lose that match, so this is the first time you face Gades where you have to win.Instead of going through all the effort to try and keep people alive, I just said "screw it" and let everyone die except Dekar, who handled the entire fight by himself.As long as you boost his defense a little, and make sure his HP stays above 2 * Devastation HP (in my video, it equaled about 180), you are guaranteed to win eventually. Now you can let Dekar's HP drop below that if you're feeling a little risky, since the chances are low that Gades will use 2 Devastation attacks in a row, but I'm just letting you know for those who want to play it safe.Keep healing Dekar, make sure his HP stays above the limit, and attack when you can. Gades will eventually fall. He only has 3000 HP this time.
