Sri Lankans domiciled in France extend blessings to the soldiers to further boost their morale. Our representative Jagath Wickramarachchi revealed of a massive demonstration planned with the involvement of 17 organisations comprising Sri Lankans to further display LTTE's brutality . Jagath Wickramarachchi said the Sri Lankan expatriates respect the heroic soldiers at this juncture when they are destroying the LTTE bastions and are advancing. Although France was a fertile ground for the LTTE in the past, its Government is attempting to eliminate the terrorists at present. He opined that there is no other Government in the world which had initiated action in the international arena to belittle the activities of the terrorist outfit. It has arrested hardcore LTTE operatives, banned the Voice of Tigers, confiscated money extorted and sealed LTTE offices. The action taken by the French Police strengthens the Sri Lankan President's programme and the operations of the brave soldiers. The French representative noted that a demonstration will be organised in Paris on 26th Saturday at 3.00 pm by a federation consisting of 17 Associations of Sri Lankans to intimate to President Sarkozy and the French Government including the international community LTTE brutalities and to request for assistance to restore unity of the country.
