Here is a very quick and easy way to make an old flashlight brighter.I used a Pelican BigD low bulb (11W) and x3 Surefire CR123a'sThe light was an old light I found in our boiling cupboard.**Warning** this mod will make the light brighter but also hotter. If used for more than 30 seconds at a time you run the risk of melting it.I hope you enjoy this video.

Nov 19, 2008 - Thanks for your comment.I'm actually still using this light from time to time and it's holding up quite well.There is a bit of metal around the bulb holder on this light so it acts a little like a heat sink. It's no Surefire but for the £8 or so it cost to do it was fun to give it a new lease of life.
