Nov 19, 2008 - Another great review! This film has been available here for about 2 years now, but somehow I always overlooked it, because I love Korean movies. Will check it out.

Nov 19, 2008 - I've only got one Asian thriller in my collection (Tell Me Something), so I'm going to add this to my wish list as it seems like a good film and a change from the usual Asian horror movies :-)

Nov 19, 2008 - Memories of Murder is fantastic. I've been recommedning people for years...If I would compare this film to another, I would say David Fincher's Zodiac.

Nov 19, 2008 - Better late then never... I suck at replying to the comments I recive... sorry :)If I'm not wrong, isn't there a swedish release of Memories of Murder?Might be OOP, I'm not sure, nothing special with that edition though.

Nov 19, 2008 - You are absolutely right when it comes to it being more like Zodiac.I just picked the first movie that popped into my head :D

Nov 19, 2008 - Oh no problem. I am just glad you are back. I was wondering what you were up to recently. I watched Nobody Knows after your enthusiastic recommendation, it reminded me of Grave of the Fireflies a lot because of the subject matter with children going through situations and the tragedy afterward. Fantastic film. I've become a massive fan of Koreeda Hirokazu, the director of the film thanks to you. Even saw him and his latest film in Toronto Film Festival called Still Walking. Heartwarming.

Nov 19, 2008 - That is awesome!!!I never thought people would really watch the movies I recommended :PKoreeda is fantastic.I want to see Still Walking, quite badly actually ^^You should really pick up After Life if you have the chance, it's painfully beautiful. There's still a few I haven't seen of Koreeda's movies, like Maborosi and Distance.Maybe I should do an Asian Awareness special on Koreeda?

Nov 19, 2008 - Yep, there's a Swedish release but I usually feel like getting the coolest edition out there anyway, so ;)

Nov 19, 2008 - I have seen After Life and Maborosi. Both beautifully done and original. Seeing Asian Awareness on Koreeda would be awesome!

Nov 19, 2008 - I've been thinking about seeing this for quite some time but never got around to it. Might have to look it up again, I guess.
