Following the crash, a confused Jack, a closed-mouthed Carly and Holden wait in the hospital for Lily to wake up. When she does, she refuses to talk to Holden and asks to speak with Jack. Lily tells Jack that she was planning to run Carly over in her driveway but at the last minute, swerved to avoid her, crashing into a retaining wall. Jack doesn't get why Lily would do this but then he sees Carly with Holden and puts it all together. Shocked Jack berates Carly and Holden and then Lily sees Carly is in the corridor and throws her out.
