Nov 18, 2008 - co2 has a radiative forcing factor that is many times that of water vapor. some greenhouse gases even have a negative factor which contribute to cooling like aerosols. but co2 has a positive radiative forcing which causes it to trap longer waves of light thus is a major factor to global warming. due to fluctuation in in weather patterns and other factors the temperature sometimes contradicts co2 levels but always catches up to increase co2. hope that helps.

Nov 18, 2008 - this guy is right. check out sunspot cycle. we've gone over 50 days without a sunspot. this tells us that sun cycle 24 will be very weak. we're looking at a mini ice age which will be in full effect within 10 years. We're looking at a record cold winter this year. Its only going to get worse. don't fall for the global warming scam. they are trying to mislead the public for their own selfish reasons. some scientist are just now starting to risk their careers and support global cooling!

Nov 18, 2008 - Try researching the fact that temperature rises causes CO2 to rise, not the other way around. They did a study and found that the CO2 levels rise 200years after a heatwave which means that the ocean releases CO2 when the temperatures rise.

Nov 18, 2008 - thanx for the lesson in why CO2 is contributing to global warming. that is what i thought. my question was really directed to people who believe man is not contributing to global warming, like Icke. they say it is the sun spot cycle that is warming the planet, which could also be contributing to the current warming but how can they deny how CO2 contribs to global warming ?

It's believed the Earth is heating up too. & is removing oil causing more friction between tectonic plates? It's all about money.
