fantablum Says:
May 24, 2008 - Mr Brown,Are you going to do more for 3rd world poverty, you are one of the few politicans who have addressed this in the past after all we are one of the richest nations on earth, some of that must be due to Labour.Should'nt we be giving more of it away.Forget the me cheap fuel me me me cheap food me me me less tax me me me 4x4 me me me.
idlefinger Says:
May 25, 2008 - fantablum, in a perfect world everything would be rosy, unfortunately we have to deal with reality!!!Supporting third world countries won't work whilst their corrupt governments continue to spend money on buying weapons to fight one another - is that really what you want to do?
WillB85 Says:
May 25, 2008 - This "ask the PM" thing is going to be pathetic. He can never give a straight answer to a straight question. All this will turn out to be is Brown giving self-aggrandising answers to feeble questions hand picked soley on the basis of how easily he can respond with one of his tired non-specific lines.I'd imagine something along the lines of:Q-"Mr Brown, how will you sort out the economy?"A-"We are going to make the right decisions to sort the economy out."
idlefinger Says:
May 25, 2008 - WillB85, quite true, but it will give the powers to be some idea of just how bl**dy annoyed we are with the current political system. It's not entirely Gordon's fault even though he was indeed Chancellor for many years, (Tony Blair is to blame for a lot of this though he's gone from warmonger to UN peace envoy!!!) this is also down to incompetence on a huge scale by politicians of all parties, and councils across the country squandering money and resources like it grew on trees!
WillB85 Says:
May 25, 2008 - Calling him undereducated simply because of the way he registered his distaste for the Prime Minister isn't very fair nor true.Gordon Brown's ineffective actions, evasive meaningless words, incompetance and broken promises are the insult to this country, not calling him a wanker.Profanities are simply a valid response to what you get when you subject people to as much bullshit as your beloved Prime Minister has.
WillB85 Says:
May 25, 2008 - It'd be nice, but I'm not sure they'll get the picture of how hacked off we all are.Gordon Brown has a weird way of interpretting calls for him to go and devestating election and poll results as "a message that the public want us to carry on and solve the problems they face". He has the unique ability to be able to take such blantant rejection and hatred as encouragement.
WillB85 Says:
May 25, 2008 - Not one bit of this made any sense.United Nations?Come on now, you insulted the other chap for lack of education and yet you've failed to achieve even a hint of clarity. I'd encourage you to put a bit more thought into your comments and vote Conservative too.Regards.
amonkeytamer4u2 Says:
May 26, 2008 - "a bit more thought into your comments and vote Conservative too."Why vote for a party that has completely destroyed our way of life, and caused the Labour part to have serious problems to resolve, from prior elected to this very day.You can not pull the wool over my eyes.I lived through the last Tory rule, and it was hell.
idlefinger Says:
May 27, 2008 - Seen the latest news article in the Times today, MPs demand £23,000 tax-free grant to hide expenses. This is absolutely disgustingly greedy/selfish behaviour by our members of parliament - if they don't like their current generous salaries, they can always go elsewhere! And good riddance!!!
pezzmeister Says:
May 28, 2008 - All the parties have one thing in common they all want power and they will lie to get it.I bet david cameron will be the next blair.
idlefinger Says:
May 28, 2008 - This is the scary thing, politicians (of all parties) no longer appear to be working for the benefit of the Country. Even as this recession deepens they want more and more money, and less accountability as to their spending of our money.I feel a change in the way the entire political system is just around the corner unless major changes are made. There is only one decent MP, former Welfare Minister Frank Fields (who was ousted by Blair for his recommendations over shaking up the pensions).

idlefinger Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - gothwizz, you are either very brave or very naive to make comments like that on here, being in mind the power and influence PM Gordon Brown has, especially with the security services.Contrary to popular belief, messages on here can be traced to the user if necessary.Don't be surprised if you get a knock at the door in the early hours of the morning to discuss your comments!!!
Laithan Says:
Jun 4, 2008 - Please!! You say that Labour have had a tough time sorting out these "problems" that the Tories caused... what problems? You arent talking about the mass unemployment. If that didnt happen, then the economy would have failed, and everyone would not have a job. Im not being funny here but surely after 10 years in power, these problems should have been sorted, instead, it is FAR FAR worse, so dont make yourself look stupid by saying things like that!
CHUCKtheFED Says:
Jun 5, 2008 - I'm an American, and I found this very interesting, from the Prime Minister's concept, to reading every single response. We are watching the repetition of the agreements that created the European Union. Most over here don't see it coming, and can't believe it will. It's all so parallel...spending so much new money, which becomes an inflation tax, and just costs us all more, unvoted upon. I guess it won't take them fifty years over here...
sergio19871 Says:
Jun 11, 2008 - What a big eared tosser.Highly original I know :)Seriously though, he can't speak for shit... Tony Blair was better than that fat lump of shit.
idlefinger Says:
Jun 12, 2008 - sergio19871, I'm going to tell you this just the once, watch your language or you will be banned.Gordon Brown has made several mistakes, though many were caused by the Tony Blair legacy. As to Tony Blair, he's the root cause of many of our current problems here and abroad, how someone can go from warmonger to peacemaker in the Middle East amazes me, the fact he's gotten away with it so far is incredible. It's a bit like Hitler starting World War 2, then becoming global peacemaker.

Jun 12, 2008 - what an unprincipled slack-jawed cowardly opportunist. All his devious little deeds are now coming home to roost.Bring on 2010!

Jun 15, 2008 - The most incompetent leader of the most incompetent government the UK has ever had, the sooner they're removed from office the better.
idlefinger Says:
Jun 15, 2008 - hetrodoxly, many older citizens of the UK say your post needs correcting because Gordon Brown may indeed be the incompetent leader of the most incompetent Labour government ever. But the opposition party is no better...Composed of the most incompetent and short-sighted bunch of corrupt politicians the UK has ever seen in its entire history, the future is rather bleak for UK politics unless some major changes take place...
hetrodoxly Says:
Jun 18, 2008 - I have to disagree, no party as been more corrupt than NL, i.e. Blare and his money grabbing wife, two jag's, etc., this Conservative party haven't yet had a chance to show what they can do, and let's face it they can't fu&* the country up anymore than NL have.
idlefinger Says:
Jun 18, 2008 - Anyone see the speech tonight by Alistair Darling? lasting approx 30 minutes I have never listened to such a load of total and utter drivel. It seems new labour really do believe their own propaganda! Will post the speech on here in 3 or 4 parts, it has to be seen to be believed just how out of touch our politicians really are :(
idlefinger Says:
May 24, 2008 - Here are some interesting figures for us motorists to ask Brown about:And apologies for the price per litre being out of date - the figs are still relevant:Price of a litre of petrol 107.9pTAX - Duty 50.35pTAX - VAT 16.07pRetailer/delivery costs 8.88pCost of petrol 32.60pSo the government adds a whopping great 66.42p to the cost of every litre of petrol we buy!!!Source: petrolprices comIf Brown wants to pull the UK out of recession he needs to get his snout out of the petrol pumps!
