May 21, 2008 - yes, QM is more fundamental... but geometry is very very important, too too. if you care you can look up geometric algebra on wikipedia... i was glanced at it through D. Hestenes. and i really think you should stop with the conscious observer (of QM) metaphor because it's borderline with trying to reduce human consciousness to "human in a human in a human..."anyway the Steinhardt vid was very informant ;)

May 26, 2008 - In a way you are right, in an objective sense the Big Bang is bs. But remember what you said in the last video about the observer changing as he/she moves through time. Maybe there is an ultimate observer, one that encompasses the universe, and we are picking up on that idea somehow, not necessarily that the universe actually evolved in the sense these scientists assume, without observation, and we just infer through "after effects".
